When we pack for you...
Should you need help packing, our professional team will safely wrap your belongings in our special protective moving paper and carefully place them in boxes.
When you pack for yourself...
If you decide to do the packing yourself, upon request, and before the move, we can deliver boxes, tape or wrapping paper to your home. There is a minimal charge for these materials of course.
When you estimate the number of boxes that you will need, it is preferable to overestimate the number. Remember that there is a tendency to underestimate the number of boxes. You will be charged only for what you use, so you don’t risk running short of packing materials.
For boxes packed by the customer, Excellent Moving and Storage can not be held responsible for any damage to the contents in transit since we have no control over the packing methods used. Our responsibility can only be limited to the actual evidence of negligent handling of these containers.
Please be mindful that, if certain items are not packed well, problems can occur no matter who the moving company may be. A good tip for anyone doing his/her own packing is to make sure that you do not overload or pack too much in one box; rather, use enough wrapping paper so that everything gets padded well. Our service representatives can provide more information on how to protect your goods — just ask!
